ECA 2K League Recap — Night One - 1/5/2026

Pistons 63, Grizzlies 62 — Bad Boys Survive the Scare

The Bad Boys Pistons barely escaped with a 63-62 win over the ECA Grizzlies in one of the closest finishes of the night. kingcell21 led the charge with 22 points and a barrage of 6 threes, putting constant pressure on the defense from deep.

But the difference-maker was xoFaruq, who did everything: 20 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 assists, controlling the tempo and owning the glass when every possession mattered. The Grizzlies got a huge performance from Hellec (26 points6 threes), but Detroit’s late composure was just enough to seal the one-point win.

Player of the Game: xoFaruq — 20 PTS | 16 REB | 6 AST
Final: Pistons 63 — Grizzlies 62

Raptors 92, Lakers 78 — Habeshx Goes Full Superstar

The Raptors came out firing and never looked back, taking down the Lakers 92-78 behind a dominant performance from Habeshx, who dropped 38 points and dished 12 assists in a complete offensive takeover.

The Lakers got a strong all-around effort from Immortal_Rage229 (25 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists), but Toronto’s pace and shot-making was too much to match. When your best player is in rhythm and the whole team is flowing, it turns into a long night for the opponent — and that’s exactly what this was.

Player of the Game: Habeshx — 38 PTS | 12 AST | 8 3PM
Final: Raptors 92 — Lakers 78

Cavaliers 87, Knicks 85 — Two-Point Escape in a Classic

The Cavaliers edged the Knicks 87-85 in a game that stayed tight from start to finish. YT-Marauder put on a show with 37 points and 18 assists, controlling the game like a true floor general and making every key read when the pressure hit.

New York had answers all night, led by Splash_Caddy_TTV (30 points) and a gritty team effort that kept it close until the final possessions. But in the end, Cleveland’s playmaking and execution in crunch time were the deciding factors.

Player of the Game: YT-Marauder — 37 PTS | 18 AST
Final: Cavaliers 87 — Knicks 85

76ers 85, Spurs 68 — Philly Handles Business

The 76ers took control early and never let go, beating the Spurs 85-68 with balanced scoring and steady defense. INeedThat led the way with 33 points, consistently getting to his spots and punishing every mismatch.

San Antonio got a solid performance from KingRetro55_TTV (20 points, 10 assists), but Philly’s pace and consistency were too much over four quarters. This one was all about control — and the Sixers had it from the jump.

Final: 76ers 85 — Spurs 68

New York got 20 points from Splash_Caddy_TTV, but Toronto’s physicality and rebounding advantage made this one a runaway. When one team wins the glass by force, the scoreboard usually follows — and it did.

Player of the Game: BlickemmK — 23 PTS | 22 REB | 10 AST
Final: Raptors 81 — Knicks 61

Magic 92, Pistons 76 — LouuSlime Leads the Pull-Away

The Magic pulled away in the second half and handled the Pistons 92-76 behind a big-time scoring performance from LouuSlime, who poured in 37 points and stayed aggressive from wire to wire.

Detroit got solid production from multiple players, but Orlando’s team flow and ability to win the “in-between moments” (loose balls, rebounds, second chances) helped them create separation late. The Magic were simply the steadier team across all four quarters.

Final: Magic 92 — Pistons 76

Magic 89, Sonics 61 — Orlando Sends a Message

Orlando wasn’t done. The Magic followed up with one of the most dominant wins of the slate, crushing the Sonics 89-61behind — you guessed it — another explosion from LouuSlime, who went nuclear with 37 points on 12/19 shooting, including 7 threes.

The Sonics had misterwalls3 setting the table with 9 assists, but the Magic’s pressure and shot-making turned this into a blowout early. Orlando didn’t just win — they made it loud.
